Just being a good girl

Sorry I didn't get to post yesterday as I said I would. I am really doing well with Nina and Bob. Evan, Debutante, and Barney are my new friends. We have settled into a rountine around here and I'm adjusting. Retirement is wonderful! Nina can't get any photos to attach tonight, but I do want everyone to know that I can roach in perfect form! We'll be going to Franklin Sunday and I am sooooo looking forward to being in my foster home. That gets me one step closer to my forever home.

Dawn, I've been watching your blog for a few months now... My (soon to be wife) and I are planning on adopting a hound immediately after our honeymoon...Depending on your leg, I'm beginning to hope that hound is you... We're big doggy lovers that would shower you with treats, hugs, and fluffies...

Dawn is GPA-N's newest beneficiary of our Angel Fund - a special fund set aside to help treat and rehab greyhounds forced into retirement by serious injuries or illnesses. Dawn turned 2 on Feb. 1. She ran at Dubuque and Birmingham, but she fractured her leg just as she broke her maiden races. She leaves 2 littermates still running at the Birmingham Race Course.

Dawn will receive whatever surgery and aftercare is needed in order to restore her to a good, painfree, and functional life as a spoiled and loved pet!
